Meet Dr. Orban

Dr. James E. Orban is a board-certified periodontist and has been practicing in Colorado Springs since 1970.  He completed his Dental Degree at Georgetown University in 1966.  After his completion there, he went on to Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended The University of Minnesota and received his Masters Degree in 1968. 

 Dr. James E. Orban was a Research Assistant at The University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry in 1966, and went on to become a Research Fellow in 1967 also at The University of Minnesota.  This led him to be an Assistant Professor of Periodontology at The University of California in Los Angeles from 1968-1970.   

 He has also been a Member of to following Organizations: The American Academy of Periodontolgy, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Colorado Springs Dental Society (Past President), Colorado Springs Society of Periodontists (President since 1986), Columbine Periodontal Study Club, The Rocky Mountain Society of Periodontists (Past President 1980), San Luis Valley Dental Society, and Western Society of Periodontology.

 In addition, he enjoys spending time with his 4 grandsons, skiing, hiking, camping, 4 wheeling, hunting, and golfing in his spare time.
